Community Domestic Abuse Worker, Community Project

35 hours per week
NJC Scale 5.22-5.25: £20,661 - £22,658 (dependent on experience) pa pro-rata

Plus Essential car user allowance

 

Choices are looking to recruit a Community Domestic Abuse Worker to deliver community programmes such as Freedom, DAY, Recovery Toolkit, to cover a busy Helpline providing advice and support, and provide one to one outreach work to victims of domestic abuse. The successful applicant must have previous experience of working with victims of domestic abuse, have extensive knowledge of the issues surrounding domestic abuse and have experience of facilitating group programmes such as the Freedom programme.

Young Persons Outreach Worker

15 hours per week (term time only) 
NJC Scale 5.22-5.25: £17,879 - £19,608(dependent on experience) pa pro-rata

Plus Essential car user allowance

Funding available until March 2018

 

Choices are looking to recruit a Young Persons Outreach Worker to support the young peoples outreach service.This outreach service will involve one to one and group work in North and West Kent, primarily working in schools.    You will be required to provide in depth support to young people (aged 11-18 years of age) who have experienced trauma related to domestic abuse as well as to deliver a healthy relationship programme to students.
