Involving our service users

Who best can help inform our services and ensure that we are providing what our service users need?

Choices actively seeks to involve service users in its operation and management. We welcome ideas and suggestions by service users which can help add to and improve the services we provide. We would also welcome involvement by them in respect of volunteer work.

Service usersí ideas and involvement are essential to the ongoing provision of our services. Choices wants to provide the best possible service we can to families who come into refuge and to those who we support in the community. We are happy to look at alternative ways of working to ensure we are offering what our service users need and want us to provide.

If you have any ideas or suggestions, then please let us know. Constructive criticism is essential to our maintaining a high standard relevant to their needs.

In addition, we would really like to see more involvement by our service users in the way we manage our services. It is important that our services reflect their needs and we can do this best by having service user involvement at the decision making stage. We are overseen by a Board of Trustees and we would really like to see a representative from our service users sitting on the Board. If you would like more details about how you can make a difference to our organisation whether it be sitting on the Board of Trustees or as a volunteer helping other service users then please contact us. We really would like to hear from you.
